Who it suits

Emsculpt is usually chosen by people who are active and close to their usual weight, and want to work on muscle tone.

  • Abdominal muscle tone
  • Buttock muscle tone
  • A complement to regular exercise

Who it is not suitable for

  • Anyone who is pregnant
  • Anyone under 18
  • Anyone with a pacemaker, other implanted electronic device, or metal implants in or near the area, including a copper coil
  • Anyone with a hernia or a recent operation in the area
  • It is not a weight-loss treatment

We go through your medical history at your consultation and will tell you if another treatment, or no treatment, is the better choice.

How it works

An applicator is strapped over the muscle. It produces a focused electromagnetic field that makes the muscle contract strongly, thousands of times in a 30-minute session.

You lie down fully clothed throughout. There are no needles and nothing is injected.

Treatment

The applicator is strapped in place and the intensity is raised gradually. It feels like an intense workout, with short pauses.
